The Toilet Feed

My final project dealt with graffiti in public services in Israel. 

I wanted to take the temporary inscriptions and turn them into something permanent - ceramic tiles.
 To create this, I’ve collected graffiti inscriptions from public toilets all over Israel and divided them into 5 categories. Each category deals with a different social issue.

For each category, I defined a lettering style and color palette, that expresses my feelings towards the subject.

The toilet feed project was selected as one of the installations that will take part in the next pop-up exhibition in Tel Aviv which will take place at the beginning of February 2022, in a building due to be destroyed.

I will take over one of the toilets in the building, and tile all of it using hundreds of tiles.

I took on the mission to design 75 new inscriptions on tiles and did so by using the clear legality I’ve designed for each category.
